Biogeographic distribution

Clibanarius corallinus is found mainly in indo-Pacific region and also near Hawaiian Islands (Image 1), ranges from eastern Indian Ocean to the Line Islands, north to South China Sea and Japan, and south to southern Great Barrier Reef and Moreton Bay, southeast Queensland, Australia (Tudge 1995).
